Map 8: Black Prince hire boats now operate out of Clifton Cruisers base by Bridge 66.

Map 15: The Tom o’the Wood pub has re-opened by Bridge 63 (Tel: 01564 782252, CV35 7DH) and is open daily from 11am ... though no food Sunday evenings. • Rubbish disposal is available at the top of Hatton Locks. • CRT have indeed abandoned their regional office at Peel's Wharf, Fazeley, taking their refuse facility with them!

Map 24: The National Memorial Arboretum’s contact telephone number is now 01283 245100. The local taxi service is provided by Alrewas Direct Cars – Tel: 01283 790373.

Map 26: There is now a well-stocked Co-op food store in Branston easily reached via the A38 underpass from Bridge 34. There is also a new cafe at Branston Water Park.

Map 33: There is currently no Post Office in Market Bosworth.

Map 9: Kellingley Colliery closed on 18th December 2015, Thoresby and Hatfield had preceded it; thus there are no longer any deep coal mines in Britain.

Map 31: The laundry facilities at White Bear Marina, mentioned on page 77, are for the use of residents only.

Map 38/9 & 40a/b: The ‘freedom of movement’ we hint at on pages 99 and 111 has been introduced and boaters using the Liverpool Link are now requested to gather at the top of Stanley Dock Locks at 1pm daily (ex Tue) for an assisted passage down into Liverpool. Overnight mooring is available above the flight at Eldonian Village. Return departures from Liverpool are scheduled for 8am daily (ex Tue).
